Description & Explanation: Same as 99234/5 (Admit and Discharge on the same calendar date), but for High complexity cases.

Clinical Examples:

1. Anaphylaxis: Patient admitted with severe anaphylaxis requiring epinephrine drip and close monitoring. Stabilizes rapidly over 12 hours and is discharged with EpiPen and strict precautions.

2. Suicide Attempt (Medical Clearance): Patient admitted for monitoring after overdose (high risk). Medically cleared after 10 hours and transferred to inpatient psychiatric facility (discharge from medical service).
